Today acquiring donors requires creative approaches, retaining them requires stellar stewardship, and upgrading them requires? Do your communications pieces pass the subway test? If someone with no knowledge of your organization found one on the subway, would they be compelled to give? If not, you've got work to do. Don't assume anyone understands your jargon or acronyms. Huge blocks of text are mountains no one wants to climb.
