Rob Peacock, CFRE
Chair, Awards Committee
The 10th anniversary of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Toronto Chapter Philanthropy Awards Luncheon is a cause for celebration. We are all winners knowing that we have the honour of serving within a profession that gives so much to so many others, with great meaning.
This luncheon provides a special occasion to remind us of the spirit of giving that fosters a true sense of community and civil society. As we appreciate and recognize those individuals who are making an outstanding difference within the lives of so many we know, we all gain a sense of inspiration and leadership, furthering our dedication and commitment.
The Philanthropy Awards Committee rose to the challenge of making the insightful consideration necessary to recognize the outstanding candidates who are exemplary of the spirit and commitment within philanthropy and the fundraising profession. They represent the tremendous accomplishments that our sector strives to achieve in providing volunteer service, generous donations, and commitment to philanthropy.
Congratulations to all the award recipients.
